I’m told that, in addition to playing in Chch next Friday, they are also playing in Whangarei on Monday. I love this band live, although they were put into the very worst possible venue when I saw them in Wellington last year. The Whangarei and Christchurch venues are good so maybe it’s just the Wellington promoters?

Returning to New Zealand on Thursday June 5th, Scottish folk legends, The Battlefield Band will be entertaining Christchurch music enthusiast’s with a night of Scottish and Irish folk music for all ages. Following the release of their latest album ‘Dookin’, the band has decided to stop off in Christchurch on their tour round the globe.
